End Domestic Abuse Barron County

Let’s put an end to domestic abuse in Barron County

Message to abused persons

You have both the freedom and the responsibility to care about yourself.  To do this you will need to learn to make choices and changes.  Consider thinking about yourself in these ways;

I am not to blame for being beaten and abused.
I am not the cause of another's violent behavior.
I do not like it or want it.
I am an important human being.
I deserve to be treated with respect.
I do have power over my own life.
I can decide for myself what is best for me.
I am not alone; I can ask others to help me.
I am worth working for and changing for.
I deserve to make my own life safe and healthy.
I am a worthwhile person.

Our mission is to reduce violence in the community by reducing it within the family.

Our organization is made up entirely of volunteers; men, women, and children who are working together to end domestic abuse in Barron County.

our donations help

We are committed to providing transitional housing to victims of abuse; to remove as many roadblocks as possible to enable them to leave their abusive relationships.

We would like to thank the Rice Lake Area United Way and the Barron County community for continued financial support for our organization and the victims of domestic abuse.
